  2: APPLY FOR GRADUATION ON UNIWEB

1. Before applying for graduation: before proceeding with the application, you are required to check that your study plan is completed and its status is "Approved". Please note that once the graduation application on Uniweb is completed, the study plan can no longer be modified.

2. Graduation applications must be submitted on Uniweb: here you can download

3. All credits must be registered on Uniweb: you can find the deadlines for each session in the section "Meet the deadlines"

  3: BE ON TRACK WITH TUITION FEES

In order to graduate you must pay the following tuition fees, according to the graduation period: PAYMENT OF FEES INSTALMENTS

  COURSES ON HOW TO CREATE A BIBLIOGRAPHY AND IMPROVE YOUR RESEARCH SKILLS

Each month the University libraries organise training courses on how to improve your research skills and how to manage and create a bibliography. The courses will guide you through all the resources and services the libraries can offer you and they are held in English, too. You can sign up here (click on the link at the bottom of the page, and then select "tutte le aree").

  CHANGING YOUR APPLICATION

What to do if:

  • You want to edit dissertation information: If you wish to cancel your dissertation information you previously inserted, you can email conseguimentotitolo.studenti@unipd.it before the application period closes
  • You want to change the title of your dissertation: Your supervisor is required to email conseguimentotitolo.studenti@unipd.it and specify the latest version of the dissertation title (both in Italian and in English) as well as your student ID.
  • You have a new supervisor: New supervisors are required to email conseguimentotitolo.studenti@unipd.it to notify they are going to replace the previous supervisor. They must also specify the latest version of the dissertation title (both in Italian and in English) and your student ID.
  • You want to move your application to a later date, *but within the same session*: If more than one set of dates is available within the same period, you can apply to graduate later in the same period by emailing conseguimentotitolo.studenti@unipd.it before the last day of the first set of dates you initially registered for. Note: you cannot graduate before the dates you initially registered for.
  • You want to graduate in another session: To graduate during the session following the one you registered for, you are required to cancel your previous registration on Uniweb and submit a new one by the set deadlines. If no changes are to be made to the title/supervisor, you will keep the approval you gained on your first registration. However, you will have to pay € 16.00 through the new payment slip.

  CERTIFICATIONS AND DIPLOMAS

Diplomas are usually handed out during the graduation ceremony; if for some reason the diploma wasn't available on that day, you can submit a request so that it can be shipped to you: Bachelor's and Master's diplomas.

  OPEN BADGE

In addition to the degree parchment, students will also receive an e-mail containing useful information on how to redeem the so-called Open Badge, the electronic certificate listing the skills that students have acquired during their studies.
